Shuffle Texture Update

Here's Lily semi-textured. Eventually I'll come back to the project to finish it up.

Clothing Pants

I worked on her pants for a bit today. The face and pants still need some shaping work and details, but I'd say they both are 75% to completion. Her lack of eyes was creeping me out, so I painted some in. I can't wait to give her hair. She won't look quite right 'til it's in. XD

 Not sure on the colors yet, but it'll depend on the environment color scheme.

Retopo'd her corsette. Now I'm about to start sculpting in folds.

Here's my first attempt at sculpting in Zbrush. 1 day down, many more to go... XD I primarily focused on the lips, nose, and eyes today. I think I have her proportions the way I like, so I'll start adding clothes and we'll see how it goes. :)

Environment Art

I'm no expert on environments, so Tina agreed to help out and is concepting the dance stage. Here are some of the iterations: 

Iteration 2: #1 was our favorite, but we incorporated elements from the other environments.

I've named her Lily for now. We've gone through a lot of iterations, but I think we're finally done. I just need to color it, and then it's time to start modeling.

Project Shuffle Intro

So this is my first time blogging like this, and I'm excited about the final product. It's for my grad class, and we can design the project. If it's approved, I get 3 months to make it.

So I'm designing a Dance Central themed character- one I like, which also provides variety to the existing crew. I'll post sketches soon- I have sooooo many.
